๐ŸŽ† Celebrating Diwali with Spiritual meaning

How to celebrate Diwali with Spiritual meaning? ~N. Harpal ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿช”

(3min reading material and enjoy lifetime experience!)

——————

After 14years of vanvaas, Lord Ram returned on this day from Lanka to Ayodya. We celebrate his return to his kingdom by lightning lamps, cracking fireworks and enjoying mouth watering sweets. As we greet our loved ones when we see them after long times, it shows that how important is to celebrate each moment and to appreciate all lives that have touched us. It is unfortunate that when someone is away, then only we realize the bond. By living in moment and manifest appreciation towards others, we can enhance our life experiences. To take this thoughts to the next level, what can we do to celebrate such special occasion in our Spiritual regime in context of Diwali festival? As Swami Vivekanand guided, don’t only worship Lord but develop their quality in our lives too. So, let’s take some moment today to pause and appreciate Lord Ram’s qualities: ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Respect others all the times, ๐Ÿน Fighting for justice all the times, ๐Ÿ˜‡ Be grounded all the time, ๐Ÿค— Equanimity and always calm in any situations, ๐Ÿ˜„ Fearless all the time, ๐Ÿ––๐Ÿผ Being obedient and loyal all the times, ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Kind to all including your enemies, ✍๐Ÿป High thinking and simple living, ๐Ÿ˜ Spreading unconditional love all the times, ๐Ÿ’— Positive attitude all the times, ๐ŸŽง Listening to others with care all the times, ๐Ÿ—ฃ Well-wisher to all even someone harmed you,๐Ÿคด๐ŸปLeadership with gratitude... Whatever role Lord Ram played (Son, Husband, Brother, King, Friend, Warrior, Student, ...) in his lifetime, he devoted his 100% pure effort all the time. No magic or no super power, just simple act of humanity in each and every moment of his life. Just chanting Lord Ram’s name or qualities won’t be sufficient since we are physical beings in Human forms. To experience the best versions of ourselves, we have to take actions to act like Lord Ram and to make difference in our daily lives. With such acts, the meaning of Diwali festival will then make more sensible in its purest form. You are capable of being the best.

——————

With endless joy in my heart, wishing you Happy Saturday & very Happy Diwali. On this auspicious festival of celebrating lights, may there will be light within your soul to be the best version of yourself by adopting Lord Ram’s character to make our human life experience extraordinary. Rejoice today to appreciate all positive energy around you. Have best times of your life today! Amen. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡

๐Ÿช” Dhan (Profound Wealth)

What’s is the biggest Dhan (Profound Wealth) in human’s life? ~N. Harpal ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป☘️

(5min reading material. Enjoy!)

——————

Dhan means things that we possess or collect over our lifespans. From the day our body is born, humans have tendency to collect needs of life like toys, clothes, food supply, love (family & friends), money, shelter, survival skills, knowledge, ...  As social animals, we do show off sometimes and enjoy our lives from what relative things that we possess. At the same time, we also constantly work towards maintaining and growing our Dhan for our better future security. Meanwhile during this process, we many times forget the key Dhan that we need to possess. Unifying across the spectrum of soul, we must realize following two biggest Dhan in human’s life: (1) looking inwards — Our finite life itself ๐Ÿ’“⏳, and 2) reflecting outwards — How this finite life can be utilized to impact our surroundings by helping others ๐Ÿช”.

๐Ÿ’Ÿ (1) Life itself — Waking up every morning and experiencing life though five senses is the biggest Dhan a person can have. We take our lives for granted. Without life, we can’t do anything. We must realize that we only have finite time in this lifespan so each and every moment should be devoted to celebrate this life experience. We should unzip all the ties that holds us back to reach to our life potentials. Introspect realization of our life is the way to increase our Dhan. Enrich your life experience through both physical and spiritual realms by living in moment (love, happiness, peace of mind, healthy life, ...). Live your life in true freedom ways. We live in 21st century where we can think and act freely compared to past human races. Take full advantage of your freedom.

๐Ÿ•ฏ(2) Creating helpful impact in others lives — No matter where we are situated in our lives, helping others gives the most satisfaction sense when we reflect ourselves outwards. Our sphere of influence is the second biggest Dhan. Bigger the sphere, bigger the Dhan. Influence via pure love and kindness. We must act to help each other at anytime to touch & transform other’s souls. How many people did you help today? Did you made someone smile today? People are suffering and dying everyday. What pain have you shared with them? Expand your influence by acting. Help others with unconditional love.

With that, on this auspicious festival of light “Diwali,” I hope that you will realize your own true profound Dhan that will empower you to transform into brightest strongest version of yourself. Be the light for yourself and others. Amen! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡

๐Ÿน Happy Dushera

Happy Dushera and Happy Greetings! ~N. Harpal ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒผ

(5-10min reading material. Enjoy!)

——————

In any sports or competition, at the end of the game, we focus and celebrate about the winning team. We praise for winning team captain, their strategies and teamwork etc. Have you ever wonder, why the Hindu festival of “Dushera” is not named after the winning team (Lord Ram) but rather by the loosing team (Dushera = Ten Heads)? When you have lost against Lord Ram, he is so kind that he let to celebrate in the name of loosing team. What a great sportsmanship! On today’s festival of Dushera, there are many hidden messages too. When all other festivals try to focus on winners, the Dushera festival ask us to focus on our self awareness and flush out bad habits. It embraces us to look after following ten pitfalls; (1) ego or ahankara ๐Ÿ˜Ž; (2) attachment or moha ๐Ÿ˜‹; (3) regret or paschyataap ๐Ÿ˜”; (4) anger or krodha ๐Ÿ˜ก; (5) hatred or ghrina ๐Ÿคฌ; (6) fear or bhaya ๐Ÿ˜ฑ; (7) jealousy or irshya ๐Ÿคญ; (8) greed or lobha ๐Ÿคฉ; (9) lust or kama ๐Ÿ˜›and (10) inertia/insensitivity or jaddata ๐Ÿ˜ถ.

Let’s have a further deep dive to our personal lives. On 1st January New Year , Hindu New Year, our Birthday— we all make new year resolutions for upcoming year and today on day of Dushera, we celebrate winning truth over bad things/habits/character and brainstorm about our bad habits. My question here is that — Are you yet 100% calm ๐Ÿ˜Š, steady ๐Ÿ˜‡, truth fighter ๐Ÿน, fearless ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป, people oriented ๐Ÿค, commited ✍๐Ÿป, disciplined ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ, respectful to all other lives ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿผ, selfless ๐Ÿ‘ฅ and kind ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ like Lord Ram? And which ten Ravan elements are still resting inside you? Why haven’t you reached to 100% level yet? May be you will argue that it’s not possible in 21st century. If so, then think and ask yourself a question— why not? What’s stopping you from being your full authentic potential power? What’s holding you back? With your internal self awareness, I am pretty sure that if you give your honest effort to find the answer then you will find that it’s not the external influences but it’s your own mindset which is limiting your full potential Lord Ram character. When you are stuck in any situation, we have two options/emotions/thoughts/actions: (1) either to give up b’caz you are tired or don’t care anymore or can’t control external situations, (2) or take a small action towards goodness despite of all the hardships. Remember, you always have a choice. Happiness is a state of experience when emotions, thoughts, actions and outcomes are all aligned. You can control first three ones all the times. Every-time, you make a decision either small or big ones, give a pause and ask yourself following three questions: (1) Am I just being reactive to current existing external situation? (2) How can I influence back with positivity to my external world, and (3) Does this decision give me short term comfort or long term improvement and push my soul towards Lord Ram character? — I believe that with such repetitive brainstorming, you get closure to your real life meaning and experience. When we are not mindful and self-educated, then the bad elements comes back to create entropy in our lives. Therefore, it is an endless game and therefore endless effort has to be put for truth to win every single time.

In the form of life experience, pain and joy will come and go. Even Lord Rama went through all the hardships in his life despite being Lord. So, why does suffering exist and how can we overcome? — My suggestions is to be and stay Blissful and Focused on positivity. In either pain or joy, they both are temporary. The thing which we can do in all the situations is to experience life in moments and give 1000% positive effort with unconditional love efforts. Make joy out of small things. Appreciate small winnings. Be thankful to all elements around you. Over the time, you will realize that there is an army of Nature elements — in terms of cosmos energy, bacteria-birds-animals-fellow human beings-plants-trees — they all are pushing you to be your best. You decide how to leverage your life with such infinite power. Read signs, my friend!

With that, on today’s festival of Dushera, let’s embrace our inner charm and self evaluate our character. Make a great life every single day and every single moment. Choose your reaction carefully. Happy Dushera once again. May Lord Ram bless you and your loved ones with spirit to fight back in all situations. Amen!

Path to Spiritual Balanced Life

How to ignite and sustain Spiritual Balanced Life? ~Naimish Harpal ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡

 (10-15mins short reading). 4thJuly, 2020

———————————-

A flower bloomed in our home garden. What a beautiful flower! Once was a seed, now have turned into colorful miracle of nature’s beauty. I’m watching this flower every now and then from my house window. As I more observe this flower, now I see insects and birds flying around my garden more frequently. With such unity between plant world and animal kingdom, you can say this affection as Law of attraction or Law of survival. With this observation, I asked myself following questions: Why flowers bloom? What does it do uniquely to attract everyone’s attention? We can explore answers in either scientific way or religious way.

Through scientific way, Darvin’s law of survival, each species on this planet has to feed itself to stay alive. Sunshine, air, water, soil nutritions, big fish eats smaller ones — are the ingredients to keep us alive. Everything boils down to chemistry and it’s reaction.

From religion point of view, we can say flowers are God’s creation. Its fresh smell gives heaven experience and so on.

Both views are valid. The point here is that the flower doesn’t care how I think about it. The flower just blooms for its own purposes. In today’s human world, our lives are shaped by external influences. News, books, family, friends, movies, TV shows, work, music, advertisements, radio, religion, lighting, social media, weather, government, stars-planets, traveling, business, school, shopping, food choices, clothes, surroundings, wall color, pets, … are such external forces that shape our emotions, thoughts and decisions. With so many influential factors, we have somewhere lost our inner charm. We nowadays talk about work-life balance, stress or anxiety management, emotion suppression, health issues etc. All these is natural reaction when we don’t live naturally.

To overcome external influence, first of all, we must need to acknowledge them in our daily lives. Do a habit check — “How much time do you spend with your loved ones? How much your decision is influenced by external advertisements?”. After a while with such subconscious listening of yourself, you will notice your external influencers and then you ask following question to yourself: “What matters the most in your life?”. This question will help you to find your authenticity. Your answer will vary from people you love the most -to- your passion for work-hobby-art etc. While answering this question, you will be able to find your truthfulness and your own meaning for living life. Instead of associating our trueness to people or physical world, think about underline emotions or experiences. For example, no matter for whom you have passion for or have love/worship feelings for particular human being or physical objects, answer in terms of followings: do everything with pure love, have lots of passion, giving honest efforts, never ever give up, help others unconditionally, be energetic all the time, live with integrity, not to cheat in any circumstances, keep smiling, be joyful, be neutral, do things confidently or fearlessly, appreciation for life, live in moment, fight for truth, stand and lead for justice, … Such states will determine your uniqueness, your own authenticity.

Now sit back and observe both the external influences and internal fire in your daily lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with external influences but I am asking here to take a balanced approach. Validate your recent decisions in your personal and professional lives with such balanced approach of connecting external and internal world. Once you find this subconscious bias throughout the day, your quality of decisions and therefore life experience will change dramatically. All your actions and/or reactions will then be motivated heavily by your authenticity. You will realize that you can influence too.

Going back to blooming flower phenomenon of the nature world, find your authenticity with living in current blissful moment and grow everyday with more meaningful life. Stay subconsciously aware of your emotions and surroundings. Keep in mind that you are not your emotions or experiences. They are the tools to experience daily life style. Doing things with unconditional love and strong passion to improve our and surrounding lives — will drive and lead ourselves with authenticity.

Would you say this act as igniting our spiritual behavior? May be or may be not. If you believe that there is meaning behind everything in our life and everything is connected to everything else, then yes. To live balanced and authentic life, you should connect to everything spiritually, mentally, and physically but should try not to attach to anything. Just like we care about our bank balance, think in terms of energy level as currency of our life. As money helps us to trade things in economic market, our energy level helps us to trade our experience in our life. Keep your energy untouched by external influences. You can either avoid external influences (like monks or religious leaders) by living life with tons of sacrifices or live life with neutral state of mind. Two minutes of bad influence or harsh dialogue should not ruin your rest of the day moments. When making choice, take balanced approach as suggested below:

(a) Lethargic vs. Workaholic— Be Grounded. ๐Ÿ›

  • If you do what you love or do whatever for your loved ones, you will never get exhausted. You will always find motivation to act and love more.
  • At the same time, be thankful that you had opportunity to serve others and become grounded that our life’s are fragile and we live on this earth for short period of time. Use your time wisely.

(b) Apathetic vs. Over-active — Be Creative. ๐Ÿง

  • We became human from monkeys due to our curious nature behavior. Step outside from your comfort zone and be creative to explore new experiences. This makes us human. Creativity mindset will give you satisfaction feelings.

(c) Stagnant vs. Anxious— Be Confident. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

  • Procrastination is the fundamental cause for stress build up. Delaying or avoiding important tasks puts us in vulnerable spots. For your dream work, break it down your tasks into small chunks and act on it one thing at a time.
  • When exploring new paths, we obviously become fearful. But there is a difference between taking calculated risks and being stupid. Only with defeating our own fear, we can concur the external world. Confident is attractive and contagious.

(d) Unfeeling vs. Clingy — Be Compassionate. ☮️

  • Learn about emotional intelligence. There are four types of personalities, known as DiSC profile: Dominent, Influence, Supportive and Conscientiousness. Be self aware of your own personality type and practice how to deal with different personalities in our daily encounters.
  • When you care for everyone and love unconditionally, kindness will born automatically.

(e) Suppressed vs. Outburst— Be Communicative. ๐ŸŽ™

  • Emotions are like inflated balloons. With body hormones, emotions are born every minute. You can try to hide/leak them or explode them. Instead of showing your anger, talk about reason for your madness. If you like someone’s smile, acknowledge and appreciate them.
  • In our family and workplace, we must create an environment where our closed ones can talk openly and share feelings without any shyness.

(f) Over analyzing vs. Lack of psychic boundaries— Be Intuitive. ๐Ÿ”ฎ

  • Our decisions determine quality of our lives. Practice how to make decisions with intuition. Be consistent and persistent in your acts. It leads to formation of trust with one another. Such trust feelings helps to be more intuitive.

(g) Skeptical vs. Ungrounded— Be Connected.

  • With wide variety of daily good or bad experiences to our lives, we develop our belief system. Many times, we avoid or detach from few people or objects that are unpleasant to us. Instead of swinging around, learn to be connected. We can only bloom if we remain blissful.

In summary, we need to realize that we can observe influencing sources from our surroundings, counter attack them with our authenticity and turn that spirit to bloom blissfully to attract others with purity. Once you realize and master the act of balancing approach: stay (a) grounded, (b) creative, (c) confident, (d) compassionate, (e) communicative, (f) intuitive, and (g) connected, you will upgrade your life experience. All it takes is to enable continuous subconscious awareness between our external & internal influences. Do periodic introspection of your inner world and pick a balanced path.

Thank you for your attention while reading this article. Hoping that I have ignited spiritual fire in your soul. I recognize that everyone is fighting their own battles in either external world for themselves or for their loved ones for their good wealth and health or fighting battle within yourself to unstuck from current situation. So, I am spreading prayers and warm wishes to your fighting spirit. Remember that you can win the battle with organized army and it is relatively much easier to defeat opponents but it’s very hard to win someone’s heart. It requires self purity and sacrifice. So, choose your battle carefully. I would prefer winning hearts every single time.

——————————-
๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿป‍♂️ No reading is powerful without follow up actions, so I am leaving endnotes here with some practical todo homework:
(1) When you wake up every morning, give a big smile to yourself. You are alive and therefore everything is possible. Appreciate your and your loved ones lives. Decide that how you wanna spend your energy level throughout the day.
(2) Do a quick self awareness check — how much have you been influenced by reading this article? Match your new learning from your own belief system and adjust accordingly.
(3) Donate your time for sustainable energy. Our Mother Earth needs help to heal. No aliens or lord gonna come and rescue us. We have to act now. Avoid single-time plastic usage. Reduce your clutter and garbage. Plant trees and flowers.

Give your honest effort and bloom like flowers whatever you do in your life. I wanna see your scars. As always, actions will set you free. Not only have a good time, but “Create” good times! Build and use your authenticity to make a positive impact in your lives. Amen.

Very Best,

๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿฆ‹ What is Karma? How to origin Consciousness? ~Naimish Harpal ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿฆ‹ What is Karma? How to origin Consciousness? ~Naimish Harpal ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

29th March, 2020

It is our perception that whatever we do now or have done in the past, we will get equivalent results in the future. Karma is not limited to just acts, but also our thoughts and feelings. With law of Karma, there are two aspects relevant to effort level and results: (1) Quality, and (2) Quantity.

⚖️ (1) Quality — As we know tit for tat principle, the Karma rule offers us with good results for our good acts or thoughts and punishes us with bad situations or results for our bad acts or thoughts that we have done knowingly or unknowingly. Just like any sports game, we left match referee (aka God or some majestic power of nature) to look after all the players and give final decision in fairly manner.

๐Ÿ“ˆ(2) Quantity — It is again very simple and linear phenomena. Greater the act, greater are the results. For long term game, Karma rule is like compound interest. As universe speaks language of mathematics, we sometimes get results in manifold. Smaller continuous acts over a longer period of time will return with most compound benefit. Vise versa for our ignorance to known issues and therefore punishments or ending up into bad situations.

Now, pocking at our brains for a second, why I am laying out this foundation of Karma rulesets here. As a human being of 21st century equipped with latest technologies, we have disconnected ourselves from nature and laws of universe. We all want everything with touch of our finger tips but not paying attention to our conscience towards underlying processes. We are full of desires for our personal gains in our daily lives (either for work life or family life). We complain our great lives over small things. This is all natural when we don’t understand purpose of our lives.

One of the great book author Deepak Chopra quoted these: “The universe has no fixed agenda. Once you make any decision, it works around that decision. There is no right or wrong, only a series of possibilities that shift with each thought, feeling, and action that you experience.” Sounds like law of Karma. Right? Or beyond that?

The whole exercise here is to focus consciously on underline thought process. Whatever we manifest in our brains, we need to nurture both our thoughts and feelings with (a) pure love, (b) unselfish act, and (c) great sense of purpose. Items (a) and (b) combined together will set the tone of intensity; whereas, item (c) will give fuel to fighting/survival spirit. When each and every thought/feeling is born with such act and we surrender ourselves bravely to outcome on rule set of Karma, we will become free from our greedy attachments. Instead of being reactive to each phenomenon that happens to us, we need to be on driver seat of our lives. As our minds are pleased with praise and displeased with blames, what we need is the food of blissfulness to our soul. This is key ingredient to live in moment. So many buzz words! In very simple words, whatever we do in our daily lives, focus on the process with good thoughts and execute it with great love. If you can find a great sense of happiness and joy just from drinking a glass of water, then you have mastered your life.

With that, as the season of Spring is blooming with colorful flowers, wishing that your soul will be blessed and filled with a garden of selfless and blissful flowers. The birds and butterflies (in the form of Karma) will automatically visit your garden.

No reading is powerful without any actions, so here is the practical homework for you:
(1) Reach out to all the elderly neighbors in your community and offer your help in current challenging Coronavirus situation. Help them by buying groceries from stores for them.
(2) Act on three small habits to help Mother Nature. For example, stop using single use of plastic bags. Don’t ask for plastic straws or spoons. Recycle garbage.
(3) Write down your life’s priorities and re-read them every morning. Tip: Instead of highlighting future state deliverables, list priorities in terms of present moment acts. (E.g. instead of looking for next promotion at work or 6-pack abs fitness look, list that I will give my best persistent efforts on details of my act. I will improve on my good habits by prioritizing them and quitting bad ones).
—————
Hoping that you will put your efforts honestly. Best wishes.
Amen and cheers to be the best version of yourself. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿฅ‚

Thanking you,
